An old property where the client wanted a moody atmospheric vibe. We started with the paint colour of the room. Made-to-measure, hand turned oak curtain poles with traditional hand finished antique brass accessories and strong printed velvet curtains were selected and sourced. Dining chairs were manufactured locally and French polished, then upholstered with a sumptuous velvet on the seat in four strong colours, but with a co-ordinated geometric for the rear backs of the chairs.
We built a window seat with a seat pad to match, fireside chair plus a made-to-measure bordered luxurious rug. Add into the mix an oversized, ornate detailed mirror and the scheme is complete.
