Susan Knight – Dressing Room

Previously a bedroom that hadn’t been touched in many years, the client wanted to change it to an additional dressing room that blended with the rest of the house. We stripped the walls and ceilings down to the structural bones and rebuilt exposing beams, creating three new double wardrobes incorporating an additional shower/vanity area. Exclusive poles were sourced with Austrian crystal finials, two fabrics were sourced for a double-sided curtain to enable privacy. Fabric was sourced to be quilted for the chair and reupholstered, coordinating fabric and blinds were sourced for the main front window along with paint colour and coordinating flooring.

Ian helped me to achieve the vision of my dreams. I was a little apprehensive before I met Ian as I did not want an overly designed scheme. I needn’t have worried, as Ian was able to use existing furniture and lighting. Amazingly he also sourced a new made-to-measure oversized mirror which works a treat in the room.
